Understand the requirement
PMI currently requires 60 PDUs in each three-year PMP renewal cycle, with Education, Giving Back, and Talent Triangle rules inside that total.
A PMP renewal cycle currently requires at least 35 Education PDUs, while the remaining eligible total can include Giving Back within PMI limits.
PMI currently allows no more than 25 Giving Back PDUs within the PMP 60-PDU cycle.
For PMP, current PMI requirements include at least 8 Education PDUs in each Talent Triangle skill area: Ways of Working, Power Skills, and Business Acumen.
Your required pace is remaining PDUs divided by the time left in your three-year cycle; finish early enough to resolve rejected or delayed submissions.
PMI lists reading among professional-development activities that may earn PDUs, subject to current reporting rules and appropriate documentation.
PMI includes volunteering within Giving Back opportunities, but PMP Giving Back PDUs are capped within the overall renewal mix.
Confirm the 60-PDU total, the Education minimum, Giving Back limit, Talent Triangle minimums, and that all activities were reported in CCRS.
