How Much Time Is One PMI PDU?

PMI’s current CCR guidance uses one PDU for one hour of qualifying learning or giving-back activity and permits quarter-hour increments such as 45 minutes = 0.75 PDU and 30 minutes = 0.50 PDU.

Fit it into the PMI structure

Keep the overall PDU total separate from Education, Giving Back, and Talent Triangle fields so one completed category does not hide a shortage in another.

Report as you go

PMI directs certification holders to report PDUs in CCRS. Recording activities soon after completion reduces end-of-cycle reconstruction and missing-evidence problems.

Renewal is more than earning PDUs

When the requirement is complete, follow the current PMI renewal workflow and fee step. Your personal tracker is a planning aid, not the certification record.
