PDH is not a universal transfer currency
Engineering boards use their own continuing-education statutes and rules. A course marketed as one PDH in one context is not automatically accepted by every state.

Some states impose ethics, state-law, subject, carryover, provider, or activity limits. A total-hour number should therefore be kept alongside the category breakdown.
