Start with the official total requirement, subtract only eligible completed credits, and separately check mandatory categories such as ethics or law.

Start with the authority-confirmed requirement

Copy the current total, reporting period and mandatory categories from the credential or licensing authority. A remaining-credit calculation is only as good as the requirement entered.

Subtract eligible completed credit only

Exclude activities that are outside the cycle, ineligible by subject/provider, above a category cap, or still incomplete. Keep disputed activities separate until eligibility is confirmed.

A zero balance is not the final status

After the arithmetic reaches zero, check mandatory categories, reporting, fees, audit evidence and the final renewal confirmation.

Verify the governing ruleThis page explains a planning method, not a universal licensing rule. If your credential has a mandatory total, category, provider, or reporting rule, use the issuing authority as the final source.
Decision boundary: LearnWithShery explains the workflow and helps you plan it. The university, scholarship provider, immigration authority, recognition body or professional regulator makes the final decision for your case.
