What the estimate assumes

The calculation divides remaining course hours by study hours per day and rounds up when a partial final day is needed. It assumes the pace you enter is productive study time, not merely time with the course open.

Calendar days and study days are different

If you do not study every day, treat the result as study days needed and place those sessions on a calendar. Ten study days can span two or three weeks depending on work, travel, weekends, and recovery time.

Protect the deadline

Do not schedule the final required lesson on the filing or exam deadline. Leave room for assessments, provider processing, certificates, reporting, technical problems, or a missed session.

Verify the governing ruleThis page explains a planning method, not a universal licensing rule. If your credential has a mandatory total, category, provider, or reporting rule, use the issuing authority as the final source.
Important: This is a planning aid. Universities, scholarship providers, immigration authorities, recognition bodies and professional regulators control their own decisions and changing requirements.
