There is no universal hour target. Build a plan from the exam blueprint, your baseline knowledge, practice performance, and days available.

Hours are an input, not the outcome

Study time matters because it creates opportunities for retrieval, practice, feedback, and correction. Two learners can spend the same number of hours and learn very different amounts.

Estimate, then calibrate

Start with a workload estimate based on exam scope and your experience. After the first week, compare planned hours with actual progress and adjust the remaining estimate.

Track evidence of learning

Pair time with question accuracy, repeated errors, domain coverage, labs or performance tasks, and recall after a delay. Those indicators make the hour estimate more meaningful.

Verify the governing ruleThis page explains a planning method, not a universal licensing rule. If your credential has a mandatory total, category, provider, or reporting rule, use the issuing authority as the final source.
Decision boundary: LearnWithShery explains the workflow and helps you plan it. The university, scholarship provider, immigration authority, recognition body or professional regulator makes the final decision for your case.
