Track the exact HRCI credential

aPHR/aPHRi use a 45-credit total while PHR-family, SPHR-family and GPHR credentials use 60, with specialty-credit minimums for some credentials. Keep the credential-specific total beside the activity log.

Ethics and specialty credits need their own fields

HRCI currently requires one Ethics credit for certificants, and PHRca, SPHR/SPHRi and GPHR have specialty components. Reaching the overall number does not make those subrequirements disappear.

Keep surplus-credit evidence

If you plan to use HRCI’s carryover option, keep the source activity and evidence tied to the cycle in which it was earned and verify the current carryover rules before relying on the surplus.
