ISACA Certification Maintenance Hub
CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT and CDPSE CPE planning with annual/multi-year checks and the announced 2027 policy transition clearly separated.

Requirement-backed pages in this cluster are checked against the issuing authority rather than copied from other certification sites.
ISACA certification maintenance pages state a 20-CPE annual minimum and 120 CPEs over three years for major credentials such as CISA, CISM and CRISC.

Check credential →Understand the rule behind the number
Major ISACA certifications such as CISA, CISM and CRISC currently require at least 20 CPE hours each calendar year and 120 CPE hours over a three-year reporting period.
ISACA has announced CPE policy changes effective January 1, 2027 while retaining the 120-CPE three-year total; use the policy that applies to your actual reporting period rather than mixing future rules into an earlier cycle.
ISACA can allow the same relevant CPE activity to support multiple ISACA certifications when the activity is applicable to each credential, but the activity must still satisfy the current rules for every certification to which it is applied.
